This year I made a Yorkshire days out wishlist of local places I’d like to visit this year, they will be ideal to go just for a day out and as they are all near to me they won’t be too expensive. I love travelling abroad and exploring different parts of the UK. Sometimes though it is good to be a tourist in your own area. There is so much we miss right on our doorstep as we tend to be too busy working and living our day to day lives to stop and notice.
I was lucky enough to go along to The Botanist Leeds on Thursday night to join in with their largest gin tasting over multiple venues Guinness World Record attempt. The attempt saw The Botanist, Leeds teaming up with their 8 other bars all over the country to hold the event. (more…)
I recently came across some make-up brushes on Amazon that I have seen a few bloggers mention and I just had to order. A set of 7 brushes that are dupes for the Real Techniques Bold Metal brushes. I already own and love the original Real Techniques make-up brushes and do keep looking at the Bold Metals. But they are so expensive and I can’t justify spending that amount on them at the moment. I’m not usually a fan of fake / dupe products but these seem too good not to try at just £5.65.
This week I received my first ever Brimbles Box, the February Brimbles Box from Mrs Brimbles. If you don’t already know the Brimbles Box is a monthly subscription box filled with goodies for either your planner, stationery or happy mail depending on which subscription you choose.
