I’m a huge tea fanatic, nothing makes me happier than having a mug of hot tea in my hand. For me tea solves everything, rough night – tea, celebrating – tea, bad day – tea… you get the idea! Being caffeine intolerant makes finding a range of teas difficult though. Most brands stock a generic decaf black tea and leave me looking at the flavoured teas longingly. Fortunately for me Adagio Teas stock a huge range of teas and a large selection of them are decaf.
Our weekend at Bingley Music Live Festival 2018 is becoming something of a tradition now. We go every year with the same group of people and always have a fab time. For us it is the last festival of the year, just before school goes back and signifies the end of summer.
Leeds Festival 2018 is a very different LeedsFest for me as I have a new festival buddy. It is Ellie’s first Leeds Festival and her “proper” festival too. Whilst we have been to Bingley Music Live and lots of gigs and concerts we haven’t done a big festival before. As she is 15 now, next summer she is able to go on her own with her friends. As I’m something of a self-confessed festival veteran now I want to take her so she can see what it’s like. I want her to experience everything, know what happens where and generally show her around. A couple of weeks ago was Leeds Restaurant Week, lots of restaurants in Leeds team up to offer specially created 2 and 3 course set menus for £10 and £15. It is a great way to try new foodie places and for amazing prices. We were invited along to Georges Great British Kitchen to review their menu.
I have been hearing a lot about The Lost and Found Leeds Club recently. Both the food and the cocktails look amazing in all the photographs on social media. So, I was so excited to be invited along last week to try their summer menu and cocktails. (more…)
