Being a blogger with a passion for food means I eat in some pretty amazing places. Living in Leeds I am very lucky and spoilt for choice of venues. Every now and again somewhere I find somewhere that I just know is “me”. Sometimes it’s the food, sometimes it’s the venue and sometimes it’s just the feel of it. Having brunch at Hyde Park Book Club Leeds is one of those places for me. (more…)
The Limeyard White Rose Centre Leeds is a restaurant I’ve been walking past and looking at for a while now. It has been on my “to-eat at” list since the opening in the summer. So, when I was invited down to the Limeyard White Rose Centre Leeds Californian Party I was quickly clearing my diary and accepting the invitation.
No kitchen appliance quite has the wow factor like a chocolate fountain. No matter how young or old you are seeing pools of warm liquid chocolate and treats to dip in it instantly makes your mouth water. Me and Ellie have been testing out the Maplin Fizz chocolate fountain to see what we think of it.
What’s your favourite meal? Mine has to be the good old British roast dinner. There’s nothing more comforting for me than a roast joint of meat, crispy roast potatoes, yorkshire puddings and lashings of gravy. Unfortunately for me Ellie isn’t too keen on roast dinners so it’s not something I cook often. Recently we went along to The Calverley Arms, Leeds for a family meal out. This is a perfect location for us as I can have my roast and Ellie can have something different.
This weekend me and my bestie had a girls night out at Veeno, Leeds for their Selezione wine tasting. I have visited a Veeno before for a blogging event and have been dying to go back and try it again. Especially in a much more relaxing setting whilst the bar is open to customers. The Selezione Italian wine tasting at Veeno Leeds is a tasting of 6 wines and accompanying spuntini.
