Both me and Ellie love afternoon tea. Having a girly trip out, eating sandwiches, scones and cakes is a real treat for us both. Caffe Moments is a local cafe that I have been following for a while. Their afternoon teas always have great reviews from everyone who goes. They have recently started themed teas and one, I just couldn’t resist booking. This weekend we went to the Caffe Moments Alice in Wonderland afternoon tea.
For anyone living in or near Leeds, May is a pretty exciting month. The Leeds Indie Food Festival is back! There are food and drink events for every taste, including lots of vegan and vegetarian events. There are plenty of events to take children and teenagers to too.
Last week we were invited down to Chiquito Leeds White Rose to try out their food. We have eaten at Chiquito in the past but never at their new White Rose Centre branch.

Tattu Leeds has seasonal menus that take their inspiration from Chinese cuisine. They create classic Asian dishes fusing traditional flavours and techniques with modern craft and presentation. Tattu cater for vegetarians, vegans and gluten free diners too. There are two branches, one in Leeds and one in Manchester.
Being a blogger with a passion for food means I eat in some pretty amazing places. Living in Leeds I am very lucky and spoilt for choice of venues. Every now and again somewhere I find somewhere that I just know is “me”. Sometimes it’s the food, sometimes it’s the venue and sometimes it’s just the feel of it.
