I recently won a Mumsnet competition and my prize was a pair of shoes of my choice from Zaccys. Zaccys are a luxury footwear brand that are designed in London and hand made in Spain. For each pair of shoes sold there is a donation to children’s charities. Zaccys has some gorgeous slides and wedges so it takes some time to decide which are your favourite. I eventually chose the Zaccys Sophia leather slides.
Zaccys Sophia leather slides
I have the Zaccys Sophia leather slides in silver. They are flat shoes with a cork base with jute wrapping. The upper is super soft pink – nude leather with silver stud detailing.
Probably the most impressive feature of the shoe is that you can remove the silver press studs and pop on a multicolour leather fringe. Making them a two in one sandal.
Zaccys Sophia leather slides review
The Zaccys Sophia leather slides are incredibly comfortable to wear. The leather is really soft and doesn’t rub any part of my foot. The base is supportive and comfortable but still flexible enough to bend as you walk. They are light weight so don’t feel heavy as you walk around in them. The sandals feel very sturdy and well made.
I really love that the sandals are a two in one design. The multicolour fringe has a real boho look to it and mix of colours ensure they will go with any colour outfit. The nude studs look really classy and again go with any colour outfit. Whichever way you wear them and whichever outfit you pair them with they look luxurious and high end.
Whilst I tend to choose luxury, higher price boots I don’t usually look at luxury sandals and slides. Mainly because in the UK they don’t get a lot of wear. I’ve really been missing out though! As much as I like the fast, throw away fashion for some pieces, knowing I have a pair of slides that will last me many years makes me really happy.
You can get the Zaccys Sophia leather slides here and they are £200.
What do you think of my new slides? Do you choose luxury summer footwear?
