As a huge skincare junkie I love finding new brands and products to try. And as a mid-thirties lady anything that fights the signs of ageing is a winner for me. I have been trying out the new EYEWAKE Skincare collagen eye serum for a few weeks now.

What is the Eyewake Skincare collagen eye serum?

The Eyewake Skincare collagen eye serum is a luxury eye gel formula that combines powerful ingredients to target the eye area. It has collagen, cucumber and elderflower to instantly awaken and soothe and vitamin E to moisturise the skin. The serum is rich in antioxidants and uses natural products to boost skins vitality. All skin types can use the eye serum and it contains no alcohol.

It is not tested on animals and is cruelty free. I am definitely looking towards using more cruelty free products to it’s good to know this meets that.

My Eyewake Skincare collagen eye serum review

The Eyewake Skincare collagen eye serum comes in a 30ml pump dispenser. I love that the packaging and design is bright, clean and simple.

The serum is a surprisingly thick gel. Despite being so thick a tiny amount goes a really long way. I don’t even need a full pump to cover both under eye areas and the eye lids as well. It soaks in really quickly and doesn’t leave a sticky residue.

From the first use it soothes the eyes and feels cooling and refreshing. I use it on a morning and any puffiness from a bad nights sleep (which is annoyingly a regular thing for me) is instantly reduced. As soon as it dissolves my skin feels soft, plump and supple.

Although I am using it on a morning  it soaks in so quickly I don’t have to wait long before applying make-up. I’m finding it makes a great base for under eye concealer and eye make up.

The serum is fragrance free, I personally prefer scented products but do know that does irritate some peoples skin.

At the moment I haven’t noticed a difference in the fine lines around my eyes but the skin feels so plump I do believe that will come soon. Hopefully in another month or so I’ll be able to report looking fresh faced and eighteen again! I’m also going to start applying it to my frown lines on a morning too as I’m hopeful the serum can help that area too.

The Eyewake Skincare collagen eye serum is currently just £12.95 and will be going up to £34.95.
