In December me and a friend went to see one of my favourite bands, Biffy Clyro at Leeds First Direct Arena. I’m a huge Biffy fan so have seen them several times over the years at both their own gigs and festivals and I love them more every time I see them live.

We had standing tickets as I love to get as close as possible and I love being in the push and shove of the crowd (I know…I’m strange haha!) We got there as the support act were on, despite arriving a bit late we got a great spot near the front of the stage.

Supporting Biffy Clyro at Leeds First Direct Arena was Brand New. This was a new to me band that I didn’t know much about and hadn’t heard but I loved them! So much so that I’ve downloaded their music and I have been listening to it ever since.

We didn’t have too long to wait for Biffy Clyro to come out and they played an amazing 2 hour long set. It was a great mix of songs from the new album and all my old favourites too. Both me and my friend had a great time singing and jumping along to it all.
