On a recent shopping trip to Leeds I discovered the Yorkshire Soap Company shop for the very first time, although it’s in Leeds city centre this was my first time noticing it. As a bath and body product hoarder I always love finding new shops full of lovely smelly things to buy so I couldn’t wait to have a look inside.
The inside of the Yorkshire Soap Company store is absolutely stunning! Hardwood floors, marble counters and cake stands full of bath and body products that look almost good enough to eat.
Both me and Ellie were in heaven looking around and smelling literally everything in the shop. The sales assistants were all lovely, they were happy for us to look around and touch and had lots of advice on all their products.
After much deliberation I finally chose a Rhubarb and Custard bath truffle as it smelt exactly like the sweets. Ellie chose a Cherry Kisses bath truffle which smells equally as amazing.
Our bath truffles were packaged gorgeously and made them look even more edible.
The bath truffles dissolve really quickly in the bath. They leave wonderfully scented water and the scent stays on the skin for a long time afterwards. The truffles are full of cocoa butter and almond all so leave the skin feeling moisturised and soft. They dissolve fully in the water so don’t leave any gritty residue in the bottom whilst you’re relaxing in the bath. I would recommend cleaning the bath afterwards as they are so moisturising it does leave the bath quite slippery.
Have you visited Yorkshire Soap Company before? Which products would you recommend trying next?
