Scotty T in Snow White pantomime, White Rose Theatre

This Christmas in Leeds pantomimes have definitely got a whole lot more exciting! Scotty T, from Geordie Shore and Celebrity Big Brother, is the Prince in Snow White at the White Rose Theatre.

This week I was lucky enough to be with Scotty T and a judging panel at the recall auditions for Snow White. We were at Revolucion de Cuba in Leeds city centre, a gorgeous Cuban-inspired bar.

We saw all the potential Snows sing two songs and act a scene from the pantomime. After much deliberation 17-year-old Lucy Dures from Barnsley was crowned Snow White.

The pantomime also stars Louis Emerick as the Royal Tax Collector, Tupele Dorgu as the Wicked Queen, Jimmy Cricket as the Court Jester and Rainbow favourites Zippy and George.

White Rose Theatre promise the pantomime will be a spectacle of pure enchantment unlike any seen before in West Yorkshire. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will play out in a purpose-built big-top tent in the grounds of the former Tetley Brewery. Guests will be welcomed by a host of fairytale characters, and can enjoy food, refreshments and pre-show entertainment.

Of course me and Ellie both had to have our photos taken with Scotty T whilst we were there. He is just as gorgeous in real life and was lovely too!

The scene I saw the Snows perform was really good, so I can’t wait to go see the pantomime in full.

For tickets, head to call the Box Office on 0113 8707769 or Jumbo Records in St Johns Centre, Leeds.
