Slimming World week three – meal plan and results

I feel like I’ve had another good week on Slimming World, my plan for this week was to up my vegetables which I definitely have done and I’ve tried out lots of the Slimming World recipes which I’ve been really enjoying. Whilst I have stuck to the plan religiously my weight loss has slowed down now so I lost 1 1/2 lbs this week which is a bit disappointing. If only the big losses the first week or two carried on! I did get my 1/2 stone award this week at group which has spurred me on to keep going.

My weekly meal plan

Every day I’ve used 250mls of semi-skimmed milk as my HEXA which I’ve had on cereal and used in hot drinks. Any other drinks have been water or no added sugar fruit cordial so all of my drinks have been syn free.

Day One (9 syns)

  • All bran (HEXB) with milk
  • Leftover pasta bake, see last weeks meal plan here (5 syns)
  • Bacon and scrambled eggs
  • Homemade baked egg custard (4 syns)
  • Melon, apple and fat free yoghurt as snacks

Day Two (11.5 syns)

  • All bran (HEXB) with milk
  • Leftover pasta bake (5 syns)
  • Chicken paella, made with chicken, rice, tomatoes, onion, peppers, peas and herbs and spices.
  • A packet of crisps (6.5 syns) as a snack

Day Three (13.5 syns)

  • Overnight oats (HEXB), made with porridge oats and fat free yoghurt
  • Sweet potato fries
  • Diet cola chicken, made with chicken, tomatoes, onion, peppers and diet cola
  • A packet of crisps (6.5 syns) and a milky bar (7 syns) as snacks

Day Four (7 syns)

  • All bran (HEXB) with milk
  • Frittata, made with eggs, onion, peppers, broccoli and bacon
  • Beef and bean hotpot, made with stewing steak, baked beans, onions, beef stock, potatoes and 1/2 tbsp flour (1/2 syn)
  • A packet of crisps (6.5 syns) and fat free yoghurt as snacks

Day Five (6.5 syns)

  • Wheetabix (HEXB) with milk
  • Frittata
  • Jacket potatoes with fat-free coleslaw
  • Apple and fat-free yoghurt as snacks
  • Tunnock caramel wafer (6.5 syns)

Day Six (1 syn)

  • Wheetabix (HEXB) with milk
  • Frittata
  • Shepherds pie made using extra lean mince, beef stock, 1/2 tbsp flour and sweet potato mash
  • Apple, fat free yoghurt and sugar free jelly (1/2 syn) as snacks

Day Seven (7 syns)

  • Wheetabix (HEXB) with milk
  • Left over shepherds pie
  • Pasta bake, made using pasta, tinned chopped tomatoes and herbs
  • Apple, fat-free yoghurt, bitesize brownie (2 syns) and bitesize flapjack (3.5 syns) as snacks
  • 1 tsp sugar (1 syn)


This week I’m planning on continuing like I have done the past 3 weeks, adding more fruit and veggies to my meals and snacks and keeping to target. I’m allowing myself a few more snacks and treats on a weekend, but still making sure I keep within the daily limit which seems to be working so far for me.


My weekly stats

  • Weight  – 9 st 3.5 lbs (total loss 8lbs)
  • Waist – 33 inches (total loss 4 inches)
  • Hips – 35.5 inches (total loss 0.5 inches)
  • Chest – 34 inches (total loss 2 inches)
  • Thigh – 21 inches (total loss 1.5 inches)
  • Upper arms –  10 (no change)
