Something exciting is happening in Superdrug in the White Rose Centre, Leeds. There is a newly open Make Up Revolution shop inside the store. On Friday I was invited down to the Make Up Revolution shop launch. Make Up Revolution is a brand I already know, use and love. I love that their products are budget friendly and really good quality too.
What is your favourite way to unwind and pamper yourself? Mine has to be pampering myself with a Lush haul and soaking in a gorgeous smelling, luxurious bath. Lush is my go to choice when I am stocking up with bath goodies. I have had an unspent Lush giftcard that has been calling to be spent so this week I have been and treated myself to some new bits.
Exploring the Holy Island of Lindisfarne is something I have been wanting to do for the longest time. After reading about a remote island totally cut off unless the tide is out I have been wanting to see it for myself. Travelling over a coastal road, seeing a town cut off from the world and exploring the place people go on pilgrimage from all over the world is so exciting. Staying in our Airbnb cottage was the perfect base for a day at Holy Island / Lindisfarne and was our main reason for our visit to Northumberland.
As a parent I am a huge advocate for cooking homemade, nutritious meals from scratch. But I am also a busy, working, single mum who knows there are times you will need a quick and easy meal from the freezer. Some days work runs over and I am late home, some days I forget to take meat out of the freezer the night before, and some days I just don’t want to cook. Picking the right food to keep in the freezer means I can still make healthier choices when days like this crop up. The Goodlife vegetarian range is perfect for keeping in the freezer for emergency days.
Today I am taking part in the Oh What A Pavlova by Isabella May book tour.
