The theme for the June Degustabox is BBQ box. This is perfect for the weather we’ve been having in the UK at the moment (well apart from the last few wet days!)
June Degustabox Berrywhite Organic peach drink (£1.39)
First up in the box is this peach flavour organic drink by Berrywhite. This is a new to me brand. It is really tasty and refreshing. I love that it contains one of your five a day and that 10% of the profits go to charity. I’ll definitely pick this up again when I’m shopping.
June Degustabox Capsicana Brazilian chilli & coconut cook sauce (£1.99)
Capsicana is another new to me brand. I love Brazilian food so this sauce is perfect for me. I haven’t got around to using it yet. Mainly because I can’t quite decide what to do with it! The pouch is quite large so seems really good value for money.
June Degustabox Eisberg Sauvignon Blanc alcohol free wine (£1.49)
Alcohol free wine isn’t something I have tried before so I wasn’t sure what to expect from this. It is nice and does taste like a sauvignon blanc. I’m not sure that I would buy it again though as if I am not drinking alcohol I prefer juices.
June Degustabox Haribo Summer Frenzy berry starmix and ice cream & sorbet tangfastics (£1.00 each)
Haribo sweets are my absolute favourite so finding these is a real treat! I love the new flavours and will definitely buy them again.
June Degustabox Light Bites mango & vanilla yoghurt fruit chips (£1.49)
Light Bites are another new to me brand. I love dried fruit so these fruit chips are perfect for me. The mango with the vanilla yoghurt coating is delicious. I also really like that there are only 46 calories per bag. Although they are a little pricey I would definitely pick these up again.
June Degustabox Light Bites Superfood fruit bar (1.25)
Another Light Bites product to try this month is this superfood bar. It has goji berries, quinoa, chia seeds, strawberries, blueberries and pumpkin seeds. All my favourites, yum! The bar is really tasty and isn’t to dry either. I’ll definitely look out for these again.
June Degustabox Original O’s savoury nibbles (£2.99)
The Original O’s savoury nibbles and the June Degustabox product of the month. I was a bit sceptical about the cumin and sesame flavour but they are really good! It is such an unusual flavour but a great savoury snack. Unfortunately I don’t think I would pay £2.99 for a box again.
June Degustabox Schwartz Authentic American BBQ Pulled Chicken / Spicy Buffalo Wings (£0.85 each)
I don’t tend to use recipe mixes as I have a huge spice cupboard to make my own. Schwartz is a brand I know so I’m more than happy to give them a go. I haven’t tried them yet but love the sound of BBQ pulled chicken and spicy buffalo wings. I’m going to save these for my next BBQ / house party and use them as a marinade. At just 85p they seem a real bargain too!
June Degustabox Spoon apple & peanut granola (£3.70)
It is a bit disappointing to find another box of cereals in the June Degustabox. I feel a bit like I am over run with them! The Spoon granola is very nice and I love the combination of apple and peanuts. Unfortunately I don’t eat cereals too often and I do think £3.70 is expensive.
June Degustabox Walkers shortbread scottie dogs (£1.95)
I do try watch my weight but shortbread is a definite weakness for me. These Walker all butter shortbreads are heavenly! They melt is your mouth and I could happily eat the whole box in one sitting. (I didn’t…they lasted a couple of days.)
June Degustabox Westons cider (£1.99 each)
Cider is my usual drink of choice so I am always happy to try new brands. These Westons ciders are flavoured with damson and rhubarb. They are both really fruity and refreshing with unique tastes. I love both flavours and will definitely repurchase them, especially the rhubarb flavour.
All in all I am pleased with the June Degustabox. I really like most things in the box and it is definitely worth the £12.99 subscription fee. I just wish they would stop adding cereals, as for me they are a bit of a waste.
