I recently saw Ana from Faded Spring unboxing a Degustabox and knew I had to try a subscription out for myself. Signing up is really quick and easy and my March Degustabox was here before I knew it.  If (like me) you have been living under a rock and haven’t heard of Degustabox before I’ll explain more about it. Degustabox is a monthly subscription box with 10-15 surprise food and drink goodies in. The subscription is £12.99 and you can cancel it at any time. If you do want to try it out for yourself click here to get your first box for £5.99.

An email tells you exactly when your parcel is arriving and the box is enormous! Opening it up is so exciting.

March Degustabox – Contents

Pipers – Cider vinegar and sea salt crisps, 150g (£2)

Crisps are my dieting weakness so I was literally squealing when taking these out the box. Salt and vinegar isn’t a flavour I usually choose, as let’s be honest it can be a bit boring! These are absolutely delicious though. They are more vinegar-y than salty which I definitely prefer. I would very happily buy and eat these again.

Weetabix On The Go / On The Go Protein, 250ml/275ml (£1.39/£1.99)

I really like Weetabix on the go, they are great for grabbing on a morning when you are in a rush. The blueberry and blackberry protein drink is new to me and it is really tasty. Whilst these aren’t the most nutritious breakfast to have they are perfect for on the go. They are surprisingly filling too. I will buy these again if I know I might need them.

Westons Pure Hopped Cider (£1.99)

Cider is my drink of choice, especially in the warmer weather. This is a new to me brand which is good as I do enjoy trying new ciders. I haven’t had a chance to try this yet but I am sure I will love it.

Westons Caple Rd dry cider (£1.99)

Again I am loving finding this in the March Degustabox for the same reasons as the other cider. I haven’t had a chance to try this cider either but I am sure I will enjoy it.

Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo – Peanut Butter / Mint (£1.49 each)

Finding two big bars of Cadbury chocolate is always going to be pretty amazing! Both the peanut butter and mint oreo are new to me. Both are delicious and incredibly more-ish. I think the peanut butter one just wins as my favourite.

The Jelly Bean Factory jelly beans £1.49

In case you haven’t noticed “Hi, my names Helen and I have a huge sweet tooth”. I love sweets so a box of jelly beans is right up my street. The Jelly Bean Factory are “gourmet” jelly beans, they are amazing. Trying to work out what each flavour is whilst eating them is lots of fun. I will definitely buy these again, especially as they are only £1.49.

Whitworths Cacao Raw bar (£1.50)

These bars are full of almonds, coconut, chai seeds, flax seed and acai. There are two bars in the pack and they are really moist. Unfortunately I do not like these at all! I’m sure there will be lots of people who do but they are really not for me.

Maldon Smoked Sea Salt Flakes (£1.50)

Salt isn’t something I use much of so the idea of smoked sea salt is really interesting. I haven’t had the change to try these yet but I am really looking forward to it.

Naturelly Jelly Juice (£1.19)

I haven’t seen Naturelly Jelly Juice before so this was first up to try. It is very watery jelly / thick juice and is absolutely delicious. I will definitely look out for this when I am shopping and buy some more. I am hoping there are different flavours I can try next time.

One Pounders Chocolate Eclairs (£1)

I love chocolate eclairs but wasn’t expecting much from these. Cheap chocolate eclairs aren’t always the nicest are they? But they are so nice! The toffee was really creamy and chewy and the chocolate inside was lovely. I will definitely buy these again, especially as they are just £1.

Heinz Seriously Good creamy tomato and garlic sauce (£1.99)

I haven’t seen the Heinz Seriously Good sauces before so was really looking forward to trying this. It is really creamy and tasty. It was the perfect sauce for my chicken pasta bake dish. Although I don’t really use ready made sauces I would happily buy this again to keep in the cupboard for a quick dinner.

I am so pleased with my March Degustabox, apart from the raw bar everything is lovely. I will definitely be keeping my Degustabox subscription going.

  1. Literally everything in this box sounds great!
Pipers crisps are a guilty pleasure of mine – we have them at work 🙂

  2. I enjoyed reading this, I’d not really heard of Degustabox before but it sounds great. The crisps and the Oreo chocolate sound yummy!

  3. Me and Degustabox have a love/hate kind of relationship. I have been subbing for two years now and there are months I love the items and then others when I don’t. I wasn’t too impressed with the March box though.

  4. The wife and I would probably have argued over the Dairy Milk but an interesting box and a great way to try new food you might not usually bother with.
