One of my favourite jewellery styles to wear is statement necklaces so today I am sharing my favourite pieces. I love statement pieces as they are quirky, great conversation starters and instantly change a simple outfit. I have a large collection of them now but some I choose to wear over and over again.
Almost all of my statement jewellery collection I have bought from smaller UK indie stores. I love the independant sellers as everything is handmade and incredibly unique. There is no chance of bumping in to someone wearing the same necklace as you!
First up my favourite piece from Drown Soda that began my obsession with this style of jewellery. A chunky red heart necklace with a scroll that reads tea. This definitely symbolises my tea relationship! Unfortunately Drown Soda is no more, but I have since found very similar stores.
I have a bit of a girl crush on Lana del Rey so when I saw this piece in Glitz and bobs I had to get it. It is the gorgeous Lana del Rey with “Trust No One” set in a pink cabochon. This is a necklace I get lots of comments on when I’m wearing it.
I got this necklace for Halloween from Muertos Mundo but love it so much I wear it all year round now. As it is a ouija board and disc it isn’t to everyones taste (my mum hates it) but I think it is cute.
My zombie necklace from Tight Trash is the perfect necklace for Halloween, or for wearing all year round if you’re a Walking Dead fan like me! I really like this necklace not just for the statement it makes but because it isn’t too heavy like some of my other favourites.
Di Depux is one of my favourite stores for jewellery. Most pieces they sell are laser cut acrylic in really cute and unique designs. My favourite Di Depux necklace is this black and pink guitar. As it is made from acrylic it is incredibly lightweight, despite looking so chunky.
Last up is one of my all time favourite pieces of jewellery, my Bête Noir Jewellery piece. This is a very chunky, double heart, studded necklace with “heavy metal” across the scrolls. I adore this necklace and wear it as often as possible but the only downside is it is very heavy to wear.
Which is your favourite piece from my collection? And I love to know what your favourite style of jewellery is?
